Island Paradise Recruitment – Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern the Referral Scheme operated by Island Paradise Recruitment Limited ("Island Paradise Recruitment", "we", "our", "us"). By submitting a referral, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility
You do not need to be an accounting or finance professional to refer someone who is. However, to be eligible for the referral reward, you must be aged 18 or over and legally able to receive the referral payment in your country of residence.

2. Validity of Referral
A referral will only be considered valid if the referred individual ("the Candidate") is not already registered with or known to Island Paradise Recruitment at the time the referral is received. Island Paradise Recruitment retains sole discretion in determining whether a candidate is already known to the business.

3. Referral Reward
A one-off referral reward of £500 (five hundred pounds sterling) will be paid to the referrer provided that:

  • The referred candidate is successfully placed in a permanent role by Island Paradise Recruitment;

  • The referred candidate commences employment within six (6) months of the referral submission date;

  • The referred candidate successfully completes a minimum probationary period of six (6) months with their employer; and

  • Island Paradise Recruitment has received full payment from the client for the successful placement.

Please note: The maximum number of referral rewards payable to any one individual under this scheme is five (5) per calendar year.

4. Payment Method
The referral reward will be paid via SWIFT bank transfer to a valid account in the UK, Cayman Islands, Canada, USA, or a SEPA-compliant European bank account. Island Paradise Recruitment is not liable for any bank charges, exchange rate fluctuations, or other fees imposed by the receiving bank or intermediary banks.

5. Candidate Requirements
To be eligible under this scheme, referred candidates must:

  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent); and

  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience within the accounting and finance industry.

6. Referral Submission Channel
Only referrals submitted through the official Island Paradise Recruitment referral submission page will be accepted. Referrals made via other channels (including but not limited to email, social media, or telephone) will not qualify for the referral reward.

7. Time Limitation
A referral will only qualify where the referred candidate is placed in a role with a start date within six (6) months of the referral submission. Re-submissions of the same candidate after the initial referral period has lapsed will not be eligible for additional referral rewards.

8. Changes to the Scheme
Island Paradise Recruitment reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this Referral Scheme, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice. Any changes will not affect referrals already submitted and confirmed as eligible before the date of change.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Island Paradise Recruitment shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from or in connection with your participation in the Referral Scheme.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
