Senior Manager (Financial Accounting Advisory - Insurance/Reinsurance) - BERMUDA

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our client’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services team as a Senior Manager in Bermuda.

Our client’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing, and as a Senior Manager you’ll play a key role in that growth. Working across mainly insurance and reinsurance clients, you’ll develop your career by communicating creative, strategic goals both internally and externally. It’s all about listening to and understanding the firm’s clients to give them a truly exceptional experience in a field where there really are no off-the-shelf recommendations.

The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so the firm will look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from the firm’s knowledge in other areas. Regular travel will be required as you will be meeting with key clients, some of those being the most respected in their fields.  As the client base is mainly insurance and reinsurance focused, strong insurance/reinsurance knowledge is required for this role.

• An internationally recognized professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, etc).

• 8+ years of audit experience at a Big Four or Top 10 firm and currently at the Senior Manager level.

• Experience in a major insurance/reinsurance hub i.e. UK, USA, Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, Channel Islands, Barbados, Cayman, Australia, South Africa etc.

• Extensive insurance/reinsurance audit experience is required given the client base.

• A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring and improving a team of high-performing colleagues.
