Senior Tax Manager (Asset Management) - BERMUDA

The successful candidate will be acting as a practice leader and be responsible for targeting and developing a book of business consisting of global hedge fund and private equity clients. The role will involve overseeing a portfolio of private equity & hedge funds, management companies and other types of alternative structures. The position will include compliance and consulting for U.S. and foreign partnerships and corporations, with a focus on high quality delivery.

This role suits an individual who has an enthusiasm for keeping up-to-date with current and pending U.S. and cross-border tax laws and policy development to appropriately advise clients on a variety of business tax matters impacting the asset management industry.

You will grow and develop high performing and motivated team members and lead business initiatives.

• Applicants must hold a recognised professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, JD/LLM, Enrolled Agent).

• At least 8 years of U.S. tax experience in a Big 4/top 10 firm.

• At least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Exposure and understanding of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code with in-depth experience in the broader Investment Management Industry.

• Experience in assisting with the development of new business.
